The Operation Purple program brings children of deployed service members together for an exciting and memorable camp experience. These free, week-long, overnight camps are open to all military children ages 7-17 from all service branches including National Guard and Reserve, Coast Guard, National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration & Public Health Services. However, priority is given to those children who have or will have a parent or guardian deployed between September 2008 and December 2009 (includes pre-, during and post-deployment phases).
